Doctor Who will soon be coming to a Nintendo Wii console near you!

The BBC have FINALLY nailed down a deal with Nintendo for a computer game to be released on both the Wii and DS console that is based on the popular Science Fiction television series! Nintendo was chosen because of it's appeal to a family audience, something which Doctor Who also appeals to. The BBC will be keeping a closely knitted eye on the game so that it doesn't directly contradict the series by having the Doctor turn up with a wopping great ray gun and blowing a secret base apart! A video game based on the series has been in the works for a number of years now, but a deal hasn't been able to be struck until now!

The game is currently set for a Christmas 2010 release, but this could change at a later date!
