The live launch show will kick off on C4 at 9pm on January 2nd when a new group of celebrity housemates will enter the Big Brother house for the very first time.

I'm not expecting much from this years Celebrity Big Brother, I haven't heard of anyone decent going in the house. Nevertheless, I will be tuning in on the launch night to see how it goes. It starts this Friday.

I have heard Ulrika Jonsson and LaToya Jackson are going in and it's rumoured that Steve Strange might be (I hope it is true as he is so eccentric and he would probably threaten to walk out every five minutes), also David Van Day's name has been banded about... these are the sort of character's that would make CBB explosive. I suppose we we will just have to just wait and see.

Yeah, I've heard some rumours too. I think Ulrika Johnson will be a definate, she's gone a bit quiet now and will probably jump at the opportunity to get on tele and try and win a career back. It would be great if Big Brother could get the likes of David Van Day or Steve Strange (although he'd probably walk out on the first day) in the house because they are such characters, DVD would steal the series! Fingers crossed... I doubt CBB will pull in these names though, probably the usual bunch of Z-listers (ex band member, page three model etc.) I guess we will soon be finding out! I think they have done a good selection for the celebrites this year, one of two of them, never heard before but im still happy with Group. My favourite one so far will have to be Verne and Coolio, they have just funny.

from what i caught the other night verne has the cute factor divina said and there was alot of awwws when he entered the house so it could be bisased as everyone will feel sorry for the midget but he seems like the cute factor could win it for him we will just have to wait and see.

It certainly is quite a good mix of characters this year, I like that they are all a range of ages and we have a few American's in there. I still think there might be a surprise up Big Brother's sleeve though as 11 housemates have entered and the girls outnumber the boys, which may mean another male is yet to enter the Big Brother house to liven it up a bit (I would hope that it was DVD but that's a longshot). Something like this might be coming as on Tuesday there's something going on, Davina will be joining us for more than one show (possibly the first eviction?). So, how's everyone liking the series so far?

I think it's been pretty interesting so far because of the diverse characters from the funny, loud-mouthed Tina to the mild-mannered and quiet Latoya. It's just interesting to watch their interactions. I also like some of the twists that have already taken place - Eg. When first entering the house - choosing beds and Latoya was the first housemate in making sure that she got the private bedroom. Terry being the first Head of Household and living in his own private luxury quarters etc. And more recently, tonight - Terry (HOH) had to make his first secret nomination based on who he thought had the biggest ego in the house during the task that was set. He chose Ulrika which means she is the first up for eviction this week but two others will be joining her and they will be Terry's choices.

I'm sure a lot more will happen in the BB house as the housemates get past the "settling in" stage.

Who's everyone's favourites and least favourites at this point, early on?

I'm really liking Latoya at the moment, I'd say she's my favourite right now. She just comes across as really sweet and quite down-to-Earth. She seems like a really nice person and I think she is interesting, there is definately more to see with her.

I also quite like Verne. He is a cool guy, very laid back, just sits back and takes things in. I don't think he would win because of the "cute-factor". He has a sense of humour and he comes across as just a nice guy. (He's not being evil at all!)

Another one of my faves is Terry right now, he makes me laugh also. He is very down-to-Earth, everyone likes that in a person but is sometimes hard to get in a celebrity. He's got a good sense of humour and is another interesting character as I don't think he is afraid to say what he thinks.

On the other hand, I don't like Ulrika. I find her quite annoying. And I think there's a good chance that she could go out first. She doesn't listen to people. She pretends to be interested but you can tell that she's not really paying attention. Or she turns it around to make it about her. Like when Verne was talking about being (or not being) handicapped, Ulrika started to talk about her back pains - as if they are the same?! Similar to when Tommy was talking about Prison she related this to her time in kindergarden?! Is this woman insane? No. She's just self-obsessed from what I've seen.

I also don't like Tommy, he just irritates me. Sometimes I wish I was in there just to tell him to shut up. I know he's a politician or whatever but he has too many opinions. And I didn't like the way he took control of that task tonight, telling Terry to put them in alphabetical order which meant that some housemates would be left out who he wasn't even considering (like Verne)?! I found it very dominating and he shouted over people until he was heard. It's not the way to do it.

I also don't like Lucy. I didn't like her from the moment I saw her VT. She is another one who is self-obsessed. She had a dig at Jordan which I thought it was unnecessary to name names. And she was saying that she wasn't just a bimbo basically, that she's smart but I think she's trying to hard. She's being overly nice to the point of being unnatural. She is also VERY camrea aware, constantly flicking her hair and checking herself in the mirror or posing - I've noticed. It's not very subtle and I can't wait for the whole act to drop. If it ever will.

The others right now or neither here nor there for me... It's still early days.

tommy is the biggest perv going he is a very strong charcter but i jus fink he loves to perv look at his face every time a girl moves hes like a little kid with his chocolate and lucy pinder come on just stand there you are a model that poses for a living but you stand there like your catching flies.

Tonight's Big Brother was a pretty good one. The celebrities had to actually show off their talents (what makes them a celebrity) and then Terry (HOH) had to decide (without them knowing) who he thought was least talented of the bunch and that person would then also be joining Ulrika to be put up for eviction this week.

I thought the celebrities with the greatest talents were...

Mutya - IMO, the best. I like the tone of her voice anyway but singing LIVE she sounded good, couldn't really fault it and very calm whilst performing.

Ben - suprisingly, he also was another one who sounded really good when singing. Yes, very much a pop singer but it's what works best for him!

Coolio - sounded great LIVE, great song, confident performance.

Latoya - she was just an all round good performer as she really got the other housemates going and involved. Very lively. I saw another side to her tonight!

My least favourite was Lucy, she stood there and had to discuss "issues" but she isn't as smart as she likes to think and didn't pull it off. She wasn't even prepared, she hadn't rehearsed anything for it. Very boring. No talent shown whatsoever.

And Terry made a fair decision when he chose Lucy as the least talented housemate which means, so far, it's Ulrika VS Lucy for eviction this week. Great news! Why don't we do a double whammy and get them both out?

All is revealed...

Tonight night, LIVE on Channel 4, Davina McCall will return to the Big Brother house to surprise the housemates as the Celebrity Head of House mission comes to its conclusion.

All will be revealed and our celebrities will be enlightened live on air about Terry's secret nominations.

So far, Terry has nominated Ulrika, having deemed her the housemate with the most inflated ego, and Lucy for being the least talented housemate, based on her performance in talent showcase task.

As always Big Brother will have an extra twist up its sleeve, and the housemates will have to make a difficult decision...LIVE on air...

Tune in at 9pm Tuesday 6th January and join Davina for the surprise live show. The show continues at 11.05pm till 11.40pm.

It's not going to happen - not yet anyway.

I can understand your point of view "The Doctor" as many people are the same. But then many people still enjoy Big Brother and it must be popular or it wouldn't keep going for series after series and spin-off series such as this - Celebrity Big Brother. I enjoy watching it, I find it interesting, especially the celebrity ones - this one in particular. It is such a diverse bunch and it is a social experiment, we get to see how they interact with one another and analysing it. I can appreciate that reality television may not be the best television but I still enjoy watching it.

Anyway, back to the good stuff. Tonight's first show has been pretty good. I enjoyed the housemates impersonating each other, it gave me a laugh. Some of them got in their little digs at one another covered up by the comedy of it all. I found Verne interesting when talking about the actors that he's worked with and his favourites. He also talked a little about Heath Ledger which was obviously interesting to hear about, he was inspired by him.

Terry had the final part of his task - choosing the housemate with the least integrity. In order to do this, he was allowed to choose three housemates of his choice whose integrity he suspected. He chose the younger ones - Mutya, Michelle and Ben. Those three would then be called to the Diary Room one by one and asked what they thought of Terry without realising that later Terry would secretly watch what had been said. They all made positive comments about him, no backstabbing - they all love Terry! So his decision was made harder by this. In the end he chose Ben as the person with the least integrity because he believed Ben would be safe and not be voted out as he didn't want any of those three to go up.

What did everyone think of the task? The show returns LIVE with Davina at 11:00pm - what does everyone think will happen? The twists?

Going from what Davina has said, I think all is going to be revealed to the housemates - who's up for eviction, why and who put them there... (oh no Terry!) Then I think the housemates will have to decide out of the three currently up for eviction - Ulrika, Lucy and Ben which one to save and give immunity this week, leaving just two housemates going head to head for eviction. This is just my prediction but I think it would make for some good TV and is likely to happen. I don't expect an eviction tonight. I would like a new housemate to go in - another male - but they could save that yet. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Anyway, the first Big Brother eviction is this Friday and last night the housemates had to decide LIVE who to save from that out of Ulrika, Lucy and Ben - The majority of the housemates saved Ben from facing eviction this week. So the first two housemates fighting it out are...

Yep. The two girls are battling it out, it couldn't be a better first eviction pair IMO. But who goes? YOU DECIDE.

I want Lucy to be evicted from the house first for a number of reasons. Firstly, what does she actually contribute to the entertainment value of the house?

I don't like Ulrika but at least she provides entertainment because she won't hold back and she can very occasionally have a sense of humour. Lucy does absolutely nothing. She has no personality. I would not miss her if she's gone so she is a waste of a housemate. The house will manage without her for that reason - there is no point in her being there. I also think that she's being very fake. Playing it too nice. Trying too hard to get away from the "model" stereotype. There was a psychologist on BBLB earlier and he even said that she's being fake after reading her body language - she is fake smiling and is trying to hide her true thoughts. I don't like fake people.

Ulrika has quite a bad reputation and even though im not a fan of her, I don't want her to be evicted first. She can go next week...

However, even though I want Lucy to be evicted, I think the public will get rid of Ulrika. I guess we will soon be finding out!

Her real side? And what's that? Unfortunately Batman, I think this is it. We can give it time but she should be bringing it out now she's up for eviction. One of her best friends on BBLB said that this is her. So I don't think that she has much more to give. I did think that, that she reminds me of Rachel - keeping quiet hoping to make it to the end. But Lucy doesn't have loads of fans, she got boos going in, even if she doesn't go this week, she will go before the final IMO. People can see through her fakeness. The public won't put up with her for too long so long as if she doesn't go this week, she gets nominated again.

The favourite to win with the bookies right now is Verne.

He's been a great Head of Household. He hasn't been bossy, he's had a laugh with it, not taken it too seriously but stuck to the rules. Of course he's loving it, he has some power and even though he doesn't seem the type to enjoy having the power, I think he secretly does like the situation he's been in. He's been entertaining. Great first HOH.
