New Doctor Who companion Amy Pond is to work as a kissogram when she first meets the Time Lord, it has been revealed.

Fans had expected the time traveller's latest assistant, played by Karen Gillan, to be a policewoman after pictures emerged showing her wearing an officer's uniform. However, it is now thought that she only dons the attire as part of her kissing telegram job.

A source told The Sun: "Everyone thinks she is this prim and proper policewoman, however it's going to be revealed early on that she works as a kissogram.

"It's going to be a bit of a shock for the fans, but I think they're going to enjoy it. Amy Pond's a really strong character and Karen is great in the role."

New executive producer Steven Moffat has also been tipped to spice up the programme in other ways as the forthcoming new series progresses.

The insider added: "Moffat's an edgier writer and the show is going in an exciting new direction."

As this source is to the sun, it's doubtful whether this will be true...c'mon, it's the sun!!

Colin Baker has said that he thinks a brand new, multi-doctor story is very unlikely, dispite the fact that it is almost 4 years until the next big anniversary of the show...50 years!!!

not sure, but if it's like the others, should be next month, BBC are very tight lipped about their schedule. They only announced the broadcast date for season 2 about a week and a bit before it started! But if they're worried that it might clash with some football matches, then it might be pushed to April!

Who's Clumsy
Apparently, Matt Smith keeps breaking things on set! In a report for digital spy, Moffat has stated that Smith is really clumsy! So much so that when it came to using the new Sonic Screwdriver for the first time, Moffat turned to new Executive Producer Pierce Wenger, saying that he was going to start a book as to how long it would take Smith to break the prop. The story goes on that as Moffat was saying this, the Property Master walked past carrying the screwdriver in two parts!

Smith keeps knocking over cups of coffee and has a habit of breaking things on set! Will the Tardis console be getting rebuilt after the filming of Smith's first season to repair it (or to make stronger) for the second series???? But Smith isn't the only one with problems. Moffat recently described the new Doctor as "walking like a drunk giraffe" with the new companion being the same. Apparently it's "hilarious when the two of them have to do shaky floor acting!"

it's about time i had something to report on the series! It deffo looks like they're going for a mid-march start as they usually release a trailer for the series a few weeks before the start of a series, so it would fit!

New Who Guest Star???

James Corden has landed a role in Doctor Who, according to tabloid reports.

The Sun says that the Gavin & Stacey star was spotted on a train learning lines for the show while en route to the set in Cardiff.

A show insider is quoted as saying: "We normally keep our guest stars under wraps but you can't hide a bloke like James.

"And now he's not coming to Wales for Gavin & Stacey anymore, it's pretty obvious why he is here. James loves coming to Wales. And it gives him a chance to meet up with Ruth Jones, who co-wrote Gavin and Stacey with him and starred as Nessa."

The source added: "We're just delighted to have James on board. He is a great actor and he'll be a perfect fit for the new Doctor Who."

This morning, show officials refused to confirm or deny the story, telling DS: "We do not comment on casting or storyline speculation."

BBC America have set the broadcast date for the new series - 17th April, so we'll have had it by then, but this still gives a six week window (the countdown on my signature is going by the date found on imdb.co.uk - so take it with a pinch of salt)

ALSO...
Spoiler: show
Amy Pond pregnant??? I'll reveal all tomorrow!
