"Let's see if you bastards can do 90!"

- The objective of the Back to the Future Collective Quiz is to answer each of the questions with what you feel the most common answers will be.
- Example:Spoiler: show
- The S marks the question as a standard question. More on this shortly.
- The most obvious answer to this question would be Homer. If Homer is chosen by most of the other contestants then you will win more points for that question.
- The point system works as follows: If four other people answer with Homer and you yourself also chose Homer, then you will be awarded five points (a single point for each person who voted Homer). If you chose Lisa and only one other person chose Lisa, then you will be awarded two points. If you chose Maggie but no one else chose her then you will be award one point.
- Some questions will be marked with a R. This stands for a reverse question.
- Lets use the same example as before: Spoiler: show
- Because this is a reverse question, the idea is to choose the character you feel is the LEAST likely to be chosen by other contestants. Therefore Homer may be a BAD choice because he might be the most popular answer. Therefore selecting a character such as Maggie may be preferable, UNLESS other contestants think in the same way as you and then Maggie will become the MOST popular choice and Homer the least. The goal of R questions is to therefore is to give an obscure answer but you have to take reverse psychology into the equation with these questions.
- The points system for R questions works as follows: If four people answer with Homer and you also answer with Homer then will you have five points DEDUCTED from your score. If you choose Maggie and no one else has chose Maggie then you will have only ONE point deducted from your score which is also the lowest possible score deduction from an R question.
- Your answers obviously have to be correct. Therefore you can't answer the Simpson's question with Stewie Griffin since that answer would be incorrect. Incorrect answers or unanswered question will result in a TEN POINT PENALTY!
- However: If TWO or more people submit the SAME incorrect answer then there will be NO penalty and the points system will work the same as it would if the answer were correct. This means that if you don't KNOW an answer, you can try and guess an incorrect answer that MIGHT be picked by someone else and therefore receive some points.
- Not attempting to answer a question will result in a FIFTEEN POINT PENALTY!
- Some questions may contain multipliers. This means that your score (whether it be a positive or a negative) will be multiplied by that number.
- Example:Spoiler: show
- If you answered Bart and four other people answered Bart you would usually be awarded a total of five points - however here due the multiplier, this number would be multiplied by a factor of two, giving you a score of ten points. If you answered Krusty the Clown (which is an incorrect answer) you would usually be penalised by ten points, however due to the multiplier you would be penalized a total of twenty points. If you failed to answer this question then you will be penalised a total of thirty points instead of the usual fifteen. This is the same for all multiplier questions however the number of the multiplier itself may alter.
- There will be three rounds in total with ten questions per round - users are asked to submit questions via PM to myself, you can do that here: ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=2
- You may USE http://www.google.co.uk to research your answers in this match!
- However you may NOT discuss your answers with members of HOTpopcorn. A 250 POINT PENALTY WILL BE GIVEN TO ANYONE THOUGHT TO BE OR PROVED TO BE DOING SUCH THINGS!
- Just try your best to answer the questions correctly using your own knowledge.
- Incorrect spelling will be penalised with the deduction of five points from your final score.
- Your answers must be sent via PM to me. You can do so here: ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=2
- Once THREE contestants have submitted there answers via PM to myself, the quiz will officially close exactly one week later. Giving other contestants one week to submit there answers. Once the quiz has closed NO answers are allowed to be submitted.
- The questions should NOT be included in your PM. Only the question numbers followed by your answers, each on a separate line. FIVE points will be deducted immediately from anyone who fails to do this!
- The person with the highest score is crowned WINNER and the results shall be submitted in this thread!
- You may of course discuss the quiz in this thread (but not your answers)!
- This game has a maximum contestant number of FIVE. This is to avoid things getting too complicated at this end. Reserve your spot now to avoid disappointment!
QUIZ HAS NOW BEGUN!
NO ANSWERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE!

Looks fun.
